Our annual night of fun is quickly approaching (May 22nd @ 7pm in the Mainstage Theater). Tech Olympics is a fun filled evening where the Techies compete for prizes and $. Events like Knot Tying, Costume Quick Change, and Basic Wiring challenge our kids to show what they have learned. Sign ups go up on Monday for techies to enter events. Also, as an exclusive for YPAS Techies...we have a LOCK IN following Tech Olympis. At 10 pm we lock the doors and party the night away! We ask that parents pick up their techies by 8:30 am on Saturnday morning.
WE STILL NEED YOUR (parents) HELP! We have had a few donations roll in (but very few) of gift cards, theater tickets, cash.. But we still need more. Some items that made great prizes last year were gift cards (Target, Starbucks, itunes, Pizza Hut, McDonalds, etc.) and cash for Amy to purchase gift cards :) We are looking for 12 prize packages (of about $25 each), and currently we are very short of out goal.
If you can help, in any way, please contact Amy (amy.berry@jefferson.kyschools.us; 485-8355)
Even if you can’t help out before the event, we are hoping you can still support us with your attendance. Last year we had some great cheering sections (some with signs!—which the kids loved!). Everyone is welcome (it’s free!), bring your family and friends to support the kids!!
For the first time this year we will have a new Master of Ceremonies...join us to see who (we promise it will be fun!).
